Steve has over 25 years’ corporate finance experience locally, nationally and internationally. Formerly a partner with Ernst and Young, Steve launched TSSP in 2002 with the clear vision of providing high calibre corporate finance advice to entrepreneurs in the northwest. Always been keen to promote Liverpool, the city of his birth; he uses his local knowledge and advocacy to benefit the clients he advises. Steve was the instrumental driving force behind the creation of Merseyside Special Investment Fund in the mid 1990s. Never before had anyone seen the opportunity to leverage Objective 1 funding to regenerate regional economies using venture capital principles in such an innovative way. So effective, The MSIF model is now being rolled out across the EU. When not at his desk Steve can be found on the golf course, cooking up a storm for the family, or watching one of his two sons play football.
